Thank you for visiting my web site and allowing me to share my work with you. My goal is to continually create an interesting and informative window of my work and to allow visitors an opportunity to tour the exciting world of make-up special effects. I welcome your emails and comments and will try to respond as time permits.

Thankfully, work has been very fruitful this fall, not to mention abundant and creative!

“The X-Files” has proven to be challenging and rewarding. The “Hellbound” episode includes skinned humans in which we see the muscular and vein systems on the body as well as the skins that were ripped off. Quiet gory for television but “tastefully” accomplished. “Lord of the Flies” episode has cocooned humans and distending jaws on live actors. 20 episodes are in the works for this season, of which we’re looking forward to. Without a doubt, “The X-Files” creates a venue of interesting and challenging special make-up effects!

A highlight for the crew (Cheri Medcalf-Montesanto, Clinton Wayne, Laverne Munroe, Robin Neal-Luce) and myself was winning the Emmy this year for “The X-Files” episode “DeadAlive” (2000-2001). This was received on September 8th at the Creative Awards Show, held in Pasadena, under the category of Outstanding Make-up For A Series (Prosthetics).

Also working on “XXX” creating double stunt prosthetics of Vin Diesel and one other character. This actioneer film requires extensive stunts, in which production does not want to endanger the lead actor. Thus, the need for look-alikes. Directed by Rob Cohen.

January brings quite a few more projects including: “The Hunted” pickup shots, “Red Dragon” the prequel to “The Silence of the Lambs” and “Daredevil” with Ben Affleck. I’ll be looking forward to all of these projects and the on going “X-Files” series until late April, 2002.

Interesting to note is that “Bedazzled”, which I worked on in 2000, creating the various character looks for Brendan Frasier, has finally been released in DVD format.
