Thank you for visiting my web site and allowing me to share my work with you. My goal is to continually create an interesting and informative window of my work and to allow visitors an opportunity to tour the exciting world of make-up special effects. I welcome your emails and comments and will try to respond as time permits.

The industry has been very busy the last few months! As a result, many new interesting projects have come our way which we're currently working on. Here's an update.

In June, we completed a project making bear scarred face and body prosthetics on Morgan Freeman for his role in "An Unfinished Life". The film also stars Robert Redford and Jennifer Lopez and is directed by Lasse Hallstrom. I traveled to Kamloops, B.C. to direct Morgan's make-up artist Nancy Hancock and Jane Dancose on application of the pieces. Having to take with me a set of gelatin appliances and fusing them with another to create the final scarring effect, I have to say that I was very pleased with the results.

We also made masks for a new musical entitled, "Wicked" which premiered in San Francisco in June and July and opens on Broadway in October of this year.

Our biggest coup was being asked back on CBS's “C.S.I.:Miami” for the second season. I'm reunited with Cheri Montesanto-Medcalf who is heading the make-up department. You may recall that I worked with Cheri on the last 2 seasons of "The X-Files". She's a real pro and joy to work with! In addition to, we're also working on "JAG:NCIS" doing a few dead bodies, etc.

Make-up effects for "The Punisher" is also keeping us quite busy. We're making all the prosthetics, bodies, etc. and shipping them to Lee Grimes, Make-up Department Head, in Tampa, Florida where they're shooting the film.

We also worked on an age make-up for Robin Williams' film, "House of D", which is being directed by David Duchovny.

NEW PRODUCTS:

Jane Dancose turned me onto these great products!

Microbrush Applicators: They come in 4 different sizes and are very useful in creating freckles, age spots and skin irritations with make-up or Stacolors. You can tape a few of them together to create a clustered effect. They are available from www.leevalley.com or www.microbrush.com

BJB's product called TC-1630 is a 2-part system which sets in about 20-30 minutes. It's great for negative and positive molds up to 8 inches in diameter.

Thanks
